Driver Hands v1.3 ALL TRUCKS

Animated driver arms for every stock truck in the game, base game and truck DLCs, left-hand drive and UK. Both hands hold the wheel and turn with it from the first degree. They steer hand-over-hand and palm the wheel on big turns, reach for the indicator, press the horn and rest by the door on the motorway. Choose BIG or SLIM hands and one of five skin colours.

What the hands do

Everything below runs on its own while you drive. You don't need to press a key.

Every stock truck

All base-game trucks and the truck DLCs, every cab and interior, left-hand drive and UK right-hand drive. In UK cabs the arms are mirrored and the watch stays on the left wrist.

Follow the wheel

Both hands grip the rim and turn with the wheel from the first small movement. They react to small corrections on the motorway too.

Hand-over-hand and palm

Past 50° one hand crosses over the top and grips again, like a real truck driver. On big turns while moving, one open palm turns the wheel round the rim.

Indicator and retarder

When you use the indicator or the retarder, the hand on that side reaches for the lever and comes back, also while the wheel is turned.

Horn and air horn

Press the horn and a hand goes to the wheel centre and presses the pad with an open palm. It uses your own horn keys and wheel buttons from the game controls.

Rest pose

Above 50 km/h with the wheel calm for 30 seconds, one hand rests by the door. Any steering brings it back to the wheel.

BIG or SLIM

BIG is the original hand and arm size. SLIM has 12 % smaller hands and thinner arms, with the finger grip re-fitted to every truck's own wheel.

Skin colours

Small add-ons change the skin to Fair, Medium, Tan, Brown or Dark. They work with BIG and SLIM in every truck.

Idle gestures, legs, watch

On a straight road the driver does something small now and then. Look down and you see seated legs, and a steel watch sits on the left wrist.
