Brake Fade — Brake Overheating System

Brake Fade adds dynamic brake temperature and braking-efficiency simulation to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

Long braking, steep descents, high speed, heavy cargo, and chassis wear can significantly increase brake temperature. As the brakes get hotter, braking performance progressively decreases. In extreme situations, the player may experience a severe or complete loss of service-brake efficiency.
